Intazza Coffee in Southern California has a job opening for an experienced Lead Barista / Trainer. The Lead Barista models a high level of coffee presentation and service to the crew and our guests in our cafe roastery. The ideal candidate has an understanding of all aspects of the coffee process, from seed to cup, and ability to present that information in a learn-able format to baristas, cafe staff and interested customers. Knowledge of different green coffee processes, roasting styles, brew ratios and extraction are a must, as is use of various brewing methods, including espresso, pour-over, siphon. Experience with La Marzocco or similar espresso machines, Mod Bar experience a plus. Must possess a mastery of milk frothing and latte art. They should love to learn and be passionate about bettering their coffee craft and want to share discoveries with all who are interested. They must be hard-working and love to learn and have fun while keeping a clean and organized environment.
