Grind and Particle analysis standards.

Hey,

does anyone have a guide and a form to use with seives and grind size analyzers? I can make a form of my own but was more wondering what the standards are for percentages within each sieve in relation to basic brewing parameters...

An example: drip grind should have 85% mass between screen 20 and 30 and no more than 9% in the catch... or something to that effect .

I can measure/weigh each screen, but don't know exactly what the standards the industry has really set for the uniformity in this regard...

any kind of help on this would be great, thanks.

Ryan.

Modern Process has some handy resources on their website here. Their Rotap Analysis Spreadsheet is really useful!
