Hi there

Ive recently started working for a company that has a probat G120 from 1961. It's there back up machine, used for a handful of roasts each week, and a little neglected but I would like to introduce some regular maintenance procedures and get it into regular production. What do you do to maintain your roaster ona weekly / monthly basis? Generic or specific to probat, either would be helpful

from a generic standpoint I would suggest at least periodic cleaning out of the rum to remove any build up, as well with any of the hot and cold side vents. The other is making sure to keep all bearings lubricated. Nothing worse that bearings that go bad, causing the drum to not rotate on its axis and causing wear on the housing.
