I just wanted to thank the RGEC and SCAA staff for assembling a great flight of coffees for the COTY pavilion. The Peru that won people's choice was simply amazing. I was blown away by the presentation and really happy to see the evolution of the program.

I heard an interesting story about that coffee. It came from one individual farmer who would harvest the fly crop a handful of beans at time over a 6 week time frame. He depulped them with his fingertips. The fermentation was done in small rubbermaid type containers until they had enough for the minimum COTY submission weight. Now that's a micro-lot!
