Hello again! I brought this question to our awesome Membership Manager, Mansi Chokshi, and she has graciously prepared a FAQ and suggestions of solutions for anyone who is having reg issues for retreat or other SCAA events. I'm delighted to share her suggestions with all of you, and of course, if you have any issues or questions you can always contact any of the staff through our individual email addresses or through
info@scaa.org.
Mansi says:
"In regards to RG Retreat registration, most of the trouble shooting is related to not knowing your login or password. The next highest volume of calls are related to using other web browsers. It’s suggested to use Internet Explorer for optimal results. Here’s some common FAQ’s, but feel free to contact us if you have another situation or questions.
1. Log in with your email address, not the company’s- If you do not have a personal login, you can create one by going to SCAA.org and click on Member Login and select New visitor registration.
2. Password (never logged in)- if you have never logged in, we have set a temp. password for you. After you login the first time, you will be prompted to update the password. If you do not have the temporary password, please email
membership@scaa.org 3. Password (error)- If the website claims this login already exists and you cannot remember the password, select the ‘Forgot password’ and an email will be sent to you. The email will have a link that will allow you to change your password. If the problem continues, contact
membership@scaa.org 4. Password (duplicate)- It’s possible that your login is shared with someone else within the company or the company profile itself. This happens most commonly when you have an email address like info@ and sales@. It’s recommended to use personal email addresses, but if you must use the general email addresses, note that only one person can use that as their login email address. If more than one try to use it, the system will not let you login. To remedy this issue, contact
membership@scaa.org.
5. Logged in, but cannot see the RG price- First, check to see if your RG membership is active. If not, we suggest to renew your membership first, the order should be already in your MY TRANSACTIONS, do not simply buy the RG membership again. Then continue to purchase the retreat price. If the problem still exists, and we’ve seen this happen to a few folks that have both an RG and BGA memberships, please contact us. We’re working on a fix to this issue, but you can contact SCAA and we will remedy this issue so you still pay the RG price only.
6. How do I register someone else? Classes are being tracked to the person that logs in, not the person whose name appears on the badge. Do not login and register someone else. Each person must login individually for this retreat and any future SCAA course, if you desire for it to be tracked on your record.
7. Classes, select for tracking, what is this? – SCAA is offering courses prior to the retreat on Thursday and you have the option to enroll in these for a specific price. Attending the retreat also gives you some credits and you will have to select the free sessions marked ‘Select for Tracking’. This will help archive these classes in your profile so you will have the credits if you decide to apply for
And, although we encourage using the website, it is not necessary. We are happy to register customers for the retreat via phone as well. Please contact SCAA for any further questions, comments, inquiries.
